Nostalgia

Hanin, my first experience in writing free poetry. It expresses the journey of the days in pictures and vocabulary, through which I draw simple images of the memories that I lived in, and grew up with. The poems colored my life, so I wanted to publish them, so that their fragrance could spread among the readers. I hope these words reach them and color their lives with joy and happiness.

A Discussion With Al-Mutanabi

Nowadays, when I look at the library shelves, especially in the literary sections, I wonder: Is there any hope for the new generation to break into these wide-open castles? To look at its treasure of human heritage, then meditate on the reason of why there were abandoned? The possible answers might be their uselessness, the difficulty to understand them, their abundance and diversity, their big size, the shortage of time, the weak cultural establishment of new generations in the educational institutions, the improvised raising of new generations in their families, the shallow media space which is run by businesses that seek their personal interests only, and the scarcity and weakness of reform initiatives. This book is an attempt to attract new generations to these treasures in an innovative way; it may open the door to other creative ideas aimed at changing the status quo, which is worsening quickly. The prevailing belief that public culture is not a priority must be corrected. It is a negative understanding that has led to the decline of its social role in building the national character. This is what we witness in every situation and social scene every day.

Emotions dominated their moments to float on the surface of pages that sunk

In a sea of poetry, to write down thoughts that are confined by a

legacy!

What distinguishes it from others is that it is a legacy of love!

So it is a legacy that is indivisible!

Hearts Fell Apart

When our hearts endure so much over a lifetime, the point of falling apart becomes close. In the case of the poet, the appearance of this collection of poems was the true explosion of the flood of his feelings, which gathered with the approaching of mid-age, as if this explosion was a scream of a help caller at the crossroads of life, looking for meaning and for the lost self. He walked along the path of pearls until it exhausted him, looking for the promise of lost love, and his steps led him to more questions: Where is the beloved, and where is the way to her?! He only has pieces of nostalgia that take him to his beloved’s silhouette while he is calling out for her to return, because he is in need of her love, but immigration cruelly took him away from her, to punish him for her innocent love. Their only sin is this pure love, which the circumstances gathered around and changed him in such a way that he became a completely different person. He returns to the night love because it reminds him of her, and he begins to walk in the path of departure without waiting for her to ask, for the beloved is no longer the beloved, and he is no longer her lover, and he will remain with his weak heart, which has turned to stone after her. And so, hearts fell apart to announce withdrawal and defeat before fate, in the hopes that a day will come to restore what had been broken.

Between A Dream And A Wish

Change your habits and get out of your sadness.

Be like a star in a night that is tired of staying, or a ray of sun that longs for sunset.

The book “Between a Dream and a Wish” includes many poems and thoughts shortened by several lines, it talks about the beauty of wishes and ways to reach them, and wisdoms that is useful for every place and time, and some love advice that balances the decisions of the heart and the mind, and arts in response that put the haters back in their place, and in sadness we will find lament and a prayer or a relief over the hearts of those who have been decimated by the rational aspect that always advises.

الأوجه المتقابلة

كتاب كتبتُه بقلبي، ناقشتُ فيه وتحدَّثتُ عمَّا يجول في ثنايا القلب والعقل مِن خواطر، تقمَّصتُ شخصيات عديدة، وعشتُ فيه أدوارًا جديدة، ورأيتُ زوايا الأمور مِن عدة جوانب ونواحٍ، كان ذلك أحيانًا  لمجرد نزوة أو رغبة، وأحيانًا أخرى كان مِن أجل إيضاح فكرة ما.قمتُ بتقسيم كتابي هذا لثلاثة أقسام، فتحدَّثتُ في القسم الأول عن الحب، وعمَّا يعتري الإنسان مِن مشاعِر، وما تتبعه مِن آلام وضغوطات وغيرها.وفي القسم الثاني تحدَّثتُ عمَّا يمرُّ به الإنسان مِن تجارب نفسية ومِن اضطرابات تزعزع كيانه.وأمَّا في القسم الثالث فتحدَّثتُ فيها عمَّا يجول في خاطري مِن أفكار ومعتقدات وغيرها.أتمنَّى مِن كتابي أن ينال إعجابكم واستحسانكم.

The Goals In The Events Of Love

The goal is not just a paper and ink… It is a trembling heart through a pen.

It is the map of feelings in which our existence has been lost, and we have lost the distinction between being a reality, or is it just a game of opportunities! And now we live wandering like a twisted chess piece, our souls hanging in the hand of luck, no skill here, no planning or strategy!

It is the slap that awake us from the unawareness in which we thought that life with everything in it seemed calm, soon its pain on our cheek opens our eyes, to see that everything began to fade and crash on the altar of reality.

It is a play in which we lived along with its characters, whom we believed to be real people, and we claim that we knew them, then the audience applause announces at the end of this play, that these characters were nothing but pictures in a frame in a painting in a theatrical scene...

It was all in vain!

During the school day, I was never able to talk about how I felt because I didn't have the words to express those feelings... The words seemed to be hidden inside me!

Hidden Words of Worried William is a book of poetry that allows you to see words that have been hidden for so long. For me, poetry is a way to express how you feel without speaking. Let the words leave the page and speak to you in a new, unique way. The words were always there, but I felt the silence. Through this book of poetry, you will read the words I've been hiding from my childhood until my late thirties... I am also honored to share my words with other adults and children, who have kept their buried words as well.
