Partnership Publishing
Publishing Partners

As a partnership publisher, we differ from self-publishing and traditional publishing. Our partnership publishing model allows us to provide both partnership and standard contracts. Once you submit your manuscript, our editorial team will carefully review it, and based on that evaluation, we will either extend a contract or, in some cases, decline the opportunity to publish the work.

If we offer you a contract, it will include both paperback and eBook formats where appropriate. Depending on your title, we also can publish audiobooks and hardbacks to meet the specific needs of your book. Our royalty rates are competitive and often higher than the industry average.

Submissions
Ready to get published

Submit your manuscript of the work you wish to publish in Arabic or English to the editorial department for review and evaluation. This step considers the content of the work, alongside the stylistic features and appropriateness for publication in line with the context of the genre. If the book meets our publishing criteria, a decision would be made to offer either a standard contract which means we cover the full cost of publishing, or a partnership contract, where we ask the author to contribute towards the cost of the publishing process.

We pride ourselves on having local and international reach for the titles we publish within the Middle Eastern regions, enabling us to offer the benefit for your work to be translated and published in English and Arabic editions. Our translation department are professional translators specializing in different languages for translation of texts, giving your title further reach in other languages.

Production
Books production by Austin Macauley

If you are offered and sign a publishing agreement, the various stages of the production process start including house styling, formatting, creating illustrations (if applicable), proofreading and typesetting for the manuscript. An eye-catching cover is then designed to showcase the genre and themes of your title. If your work contains illustrations, the necessary adjustments are made to ensure accuracy and quality. A cover blurb that reflects the storyline of the book is written to capture the essence of the story to be placed on the back cover. The book is also given an international book number (ISBN) officially registering the book in publication and making it widely accessible to book distributors and retailers. The manuscript is published in various formats according to the publishing agreement such as Paperback, eBook (such as Kindle and EPUB), Hardback or Audiobook.

Marketing
Designing book marketing strategies by Austin Macauley

Our marketing process begins pre-publication and the book is made available online prior to release. The marketing strategy is ongoing, tailored to the timeline of the books release and continues after initial release to grow brand awareness in the reading community. The marketing department formulate a plan aiming to produce awareness of you as an author and your book. We also have an impressive list of potential promotional and media platforms such as: contact with many newspapers, magazines and radio stations who can be approached to introduce new titles; the potential to support in organising events such as book signings when the opportunity arises, and numerous participations in local and international book fairs where appropriate. A marketing coordinator is appointed in the marketing department for communication with you as the author, assisting you during the marketing process as well as involving you as much as possible in promoting your book. Working together to give your work the best chance of success and making it available across the world.

Sales and Distribution
Published books pack for distribution

Our wide network supported by strong international relationships are crucial factors which contribute to the availability of your book. We are registered with Nielsen, the UK's national book database, and our publications are available for pre-order through our distribution network. Our team will evaluate each book to determine appropriate bookstores and online platforms to approach for promotion.

Your book has the opportunity to participate in numerous international book fairs to support awareness of your title and enhancing different sales channels available.

Rights, Licensing & Permissions
Books copyright and patent

Our rights department actively seek opportunities with third party publishers and rights agents to negotiate and sell subsidiary rights worldwide. This focus increases the value of your title by selling various types of rights including the translation of the selected works into different languages where publishers license the rights to translate your title into another language and sold within the region. Once our rights team has negotiated with interested contacts, you will be notified of any rights sold of your title, including the percentage owed to you as the author.

Royalties
Book royalties

Authors are paid royalties from their book’s sales in line with the royalty rate and period defined within their publishing agreement. Most authors will receive a detailed statement nine months after the initial publication date for the first six months of sales. After this, a royalty statement is provided every six months.
