Maryam Mohammed Al Marri is an Emirati writer passionate about documenting human experiences and narrating social stories that touch both the heart and the mind.
This is her first authored book, born from a sincere desire to give voice to those who have not been heard and to share real-life experiences that deserve reflection and learning.
She drew inspiration for her book from real situations and experiences of the protagonists in her stories, seeking to offer life lessons extracted from reality, written in a social-literary style that blends wisdom with emotion.
She was careful to include words in the Emirati dialect in her texts, believing strongly in the importance of promoting the culture and language of her homeland.
Although she does not hold an academic specialization in writing, pain was the starting point for discovering her talent, transforming moments of sorrow into inspiring strength and an honest pen.
She believes that stories are not merely tales, but lessons from which we can learn, comfort ourselves, and understand that we are never truly alone, no matter how harsh life’s circumstances may be.
Her message to readers:
“We all go through experiences we might think we face alone, but the truth is that others are going through them as well—or perhaps even greater challenges. Do not lose hope, and remember this verse: And be patient for the decree of your Lord, for indeed you are under Our watchful eyes.”
You can also get to know another side of her through her personal account, where she shares her daily hobbies, such as drawing, walking, and selected literary excerpts from her own writings and readings.
