Twenty Five

This is a collection of poems written as a response towards the incidents that transpired in the span of 11 months which were a transition point for me.

These 11 months shaped my thoughts, my beliefs and tested my sanity in different ways. The poems were written at the airport stairs, where endless thoughts have fallen.

The Spider Web

The Repertoire Of Being

The Repertoire of Being is Maryam A. Wajdi’s debut poetry anthology, depicting her perspective on life and her encounters with others through an everchanging lens from the eyes of a child to a young woman. There are a few pages where imagination kicked in, where the author imagined and wished these things happened.

Some wishes were written in the form of poems, and they became true.

Some poems are a “thank you” letter. Some of them are appreciations and acknowledgment of blessings. Nevertheless, most of them are unspoken words and unsent letters to people who caused damage to the soul of a writer.

Both in Arabic and English, these poems are different yet portray the beauty of both languages.

The Art Of Emotional Venting

And with every ending comes a new beginning. Like when you finish watching your favorite TV show, or reading a great book series, or even writing a poetry book…

When an author concludes their final artwork, the piece will keep on being interpreted and left unforgotten.
