Regretted Never, Won’t Ever

This is my first ever endeavor to create a ‘garland of rhyming words’. People usually call them poem… For me, not even one is less than a pearl. This is just an encouragement and inspiration for me to pen and weave more such beautiful garlands.

As a human being, we have various traits which define us. So are my poems, expressing different moods, feelings and thoughts.

Each one is unique and has the power to connect directly to the reader.

Reflections

Reflections may just seem like mirror images on water, but they gloriously differ with the eye of the beholder. They are what the viewer perceives them to be, from their view. This collection of poems, Reflections, encompasses musings on nature, human interactions and the emotions that connect us all. These are ‘reflections’, as seen by my eyes.

Profundity

This book consists of poems of pure feelings. Some of them talk about the mindset we live in, and some of them talk about the struggles young adults face in our modernized world, whether it's friendships, love, or even societal issues (fitting in). I question a variety of things including our surroundings, some certain views of other people, and some social norms in this book. Nothing personal here, it’s just how I view life. I hope it touches your heart!

Once Upon A Dream

When a dream touches reality, it becomes possible to happen. No matter what I lost in my life, I always looked at the bright side. I always suppressed my pain to be able to move on.
I believe that if your new year is just like the year before then you need to get yourself a job.
When I was fed up waiting for a job to save my life, I worked on my dream. Sometimes losing important things give us the chance for better things. Only when we are positive enough can we see the light under the sea and an ending to the ocean.
Wake up today to make your dreams true. Work on them because the story of 11:11 wish and the falling star wish are unfortunately not real!

On Par With Emotions

A few verses written to relieve personal struggle and stress, an expression of emotions that forces connection. One verse is brutal, the other tender. Has poetic mood swings, poetic madness, poetic blasphemy, poetic godly mysticism. These are the words of the poet about an epic journey with pen as his sword and paper as his shield. A few painful expressions of poetry that will bring joy and release stress, an honest form of expression.

The book is the poet’s depiction of the growing rift between an established past along the great human institutions of religion, history and culture which mankind used to rely on for guidance in life on the one hand, and a present set out to redefine itself along with the new evolutionary strides in science and technology on the other. Following this great divergence, mankind’s moral values, especially that of truth, have been drastically devalued as a result of this shift towards a more materialistic way of life. Therefore, the resulting values in the aftermath were the product of the scientific development and the break with traditions, religion, history and culture. They were limited and evanescent and wanting in their capacity to meet the needs of humanity as a whole. They were largely temporal and choppy reflecting the new zeitgeist of the modern culture.

Mine, Yours, Ours

I know it’s not mine

To ask for a minute of your time,

But if you can find it to be ‘fine’

Then this may be deemed a worthy rhyme.

I won’t take hours

From you,

I promise.

Yet, I gave hours

For you,

I wrote this.

Because it’s ours,

When loneliness tries to succumb a girl,
hope sprouts as mushrooms on a rainy day,
when there is this sense of loss in someone’s mind
Love of God will lend a gentle hand
Rest assured is a walk
through various facets of love and thoughts
Of God, of mother nature….
