Our Author Zeinah Ahmed Makki will be joining the Doha International Book Fair for the signing of her book Black Hole on Friday, 22 May 2026 at 20:00. The event will take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, DECC, Doha.

Visitors will be able to meet the author and get a signed copy during the event.

Black Hole is a book about self-discovery, pain, hope and inner truth. The book looks at life as a journey that moves between darkness and light. It follows the voice of a young girl who searches within herself, faces what has been hidden and reaches a place where fear begins to lose its power. The black hole in the book is not only a place of darkness. It becomes a window toward peace and a new way of seeing life.

Zeinah Ahmed Makki is a Lebanese actress and filmmaker who was born in Kuwait on April 4, 1990. She studied at Notre Dame University in Lebanon and began her acting career in 2012 with a leading role in the film Habba Loulou. Since then, she has appeared in many television dramas, features and independent films. She also directed the documentary Bent Not Broken, which won an award at the 2012 Monaco Film Festival.

The Doha International Book Fair is one of the oldest and largest international book fairs in the region. Since its inauguration in 1972, it has gained international acclaim and attracted some of the world’s most important publishing houses.
