Zeinah Ahmed Makki

Zeina Makki, a Lebanese actress and filmmaker, was born in Kuwait on April 4, 1990.


She studied at Notre Dame University (NDU) in Lebanon and began her acting career in 2012 with a leading role in the film Habba Loulou, quickly establishing a strong presence and remarkable talent.


Throughout her career, she has appeared in more than twenty television dramas and three feature films that achieved critical acclaim, in addition to several independent films.


She directed the documentary Bent Not Broken, which won an award at the 2012 Monaco Film Festival, and co-directed a segment of the film Waynen, written by Georges Khabbaz.


Zeina is known for her roles portraying strong, resilient women who overcome challenges and rise above adversity.


Her personal experience with scoliosis and undergoing major surgery at the age of fourteen served as a source of inspiration for her artistic and humanitarian message.


In addition to acting and directing, Zeina is passionate about the world of horses and equestrianism. After a long hiatus, she returned to show jumping and aspires to participate in international competitions. She also invests in breeding purebred Arabian horses.


Zeina embodies a blend of creativity, humanitarian passion, and unwavering ambition, transforming every life experience into a new story to be told on screen and to inspire her Arab audience.
