Shaikha’s Diary is an interesting book, filled with insights of cultural diversity. As a teacher in Dubai, I read it with my elementary students and they loved it! They were all excited to read about the events in Shaikha’s life. They could easily relate to the characters in the story as they share similar experiences and challenges. The word choice and language features make this book easy to understand, and a great tool to use in class for ELA teaching purposes. I highly recommend this book.
