In a small town where its people leave in peace and harmony, a fire breaks out in one of the houses and the father dies, leaving behind seven orphans. The town's merchants took care of them, and they appointed the chief merchant as their guardian.

The relatives of the orphans appear, and events follow over the years, revealing the greediness of various parties for the orphans' money.

Events follow, some masks fall and the real face of some characters revealed their true nature.

The plots to inflict damage on other characters and places also revolve around in this story, some plots so surprising that they will not cross the reader’s mind!


Mona Nasser Almoalla holds a BA in Media from the Higher Colleges of Technology. She started writing at the age of thirteen, inspired by the novels she started reading the same year. Her love of writing grew as she continued to read, and her taste developed from fiction to various other genres. She prefers to read and write in both Arabic and English. She has previously published a social satirical book entitled “The Drug of Smart Devices” in both languages in 2017 and 2018."The Guardian" is Mona’s first published novel and may be the fastest novel she has written, as it took no more than three months to complete. This is an achievement for her after a long break from writing.
