This collection contains short poetic texts from free modern poetry, prose poems, and very few acrostic poems. The texts of these poems deal with various ideas, feelings, and questions, with meanings that may be clear and realistic—expressing concrete experiences—and fictional and dreamy derived from the revelation of the poet’s imagination. The first and last poem express how the poet loves his wife, Hammam, whose name is mentioned in several poems. Almost no poem is free of questioning, but do these signs accept division by poet’s life stations? Will the poet accept what was divided for him? The reader will judge.
The writer was born in 1972 in the city of Al-Qatif in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He grew up in an ancient family, and obtained a bachelor’s degree with honors in financial and banking economics from the University of Bahrain. He worked in the financial sector for more than 20 years, worked in the health sector for five years, and obtained numerous internationally accredited professional certificates during his long working period. He was impressed by writing poetry from a young age, and he has written anecdotal and novel writings that have not been published yet. He did not seek to publish his books during those years due to his preoccupation in his family and practical life. With the encouragement of those around him, he collected some of his writings for publication. The writer is married with three sons and two daughters, and one of his most prominent hobbies, besides traveling and learning about the civilizations and stories of peoples, is making his own imaginary world in which he lives alone, away from the responsibilities of life. He loves liberal thoughts and does not judge others or interfere in their affairs, and he does not care much about the judgment of others on his thinking and lifestyle. He loves his country, takes pride in his identity and always biases his countrymen. His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman, the creator of change, and the instigator of his dreams and the dreams of many in his homeland, is the torch that illuminates him in the darkness of the night, and he wishes to meet him to give him his thanks and gratitude for all that he presented and will present to the kingdom.
