I Am Not a Mirage is a symbolic novel that criticizes some of the phenomena of the Arab and international movement, reality but in a fictional and ironic form.

For what he sees and reads of daily news that touches social, religious and political thoughts, which led to the drawing of several currents of different cases that established the pillars of this novel, and took the heroine to events and situations that belong to the nowhere... the unknown.
The novel focused on the inner psychological aspects of the contemporary man, who is obsessed with power and idealism on the one hand, and the Hollywood world of beauty and fame on the other hand. It explores how this person with a complex personality can face the trials and tribulations that he is placed in because of things he does not realize, trying hard to know the truth. This shows the conflict that a human may encounter between virtue and the laws of life. The novel moves between three times: past, present and future.
Also, the heroine of the novel was not satisfied with the visible world until she crossed the separation barrier to the invisible world.
