Dr. Ibrahim Kadhim Jillood El Admawi
Dr. Ibrahim Kadhim Jillood El Admawi, a novelist, thinker, poet, and literary figure.
He studied medicine at the University of Baghdad and specialized in psychiatry at the University of London.
He has worked as an expert for United Nations agencies, the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and Arab and foreign universities.
His literary interests include short stories, novels, poetry, and essays; he has won the Short Story Award for Adults and another award for children’s literature.
Among his most notable works are Landmarks in the Psychology of Childhood, Adolescence, and Youth (1989); Al-Rays’ Orchard, his first collection of short stories (2023); and the novel Love in the Time of COVID (2024), both published by Austin Macauley. He has also authored two other books on the psychological aspects of life.
