Mariam Alaa
Mariam Alaa graduated from Al-Azhar University’s Faculty of Languages and Interpreting. She fell in love with writing at the age of eight, reading daily newspapers, and at fifteen she penned her first thoughts.
She has never forgotten her love for the Arabic language or her deep attachment to it, and she has used it in the field of translation to convey the intended meaning of English sentences.
Now, because of her deep love for Arabic, she has become a teacher of the language to non-native speakers while also pursuing her passion for writing reflections and articles; writing was—and still is—her safe haven and eternal joy in life. She has never dared to give it up, no matter what jobs she has held or where she has traveled. It is—as she calls it—her Excursion, which guides her.
