First Day Of School
After his first day of school, Qais comes home every day telling the same story about Baskid, who was abandoned by his parents at school and is feeling unloved and afraid. After a month of trying in vain to get him to look normal—or even calm—the idea struck me to write down his story, but with a positive ending, taking his feelings into account so he would feel understood, and directing his attention toward the positive side of the situation. It was wonderful! And the little homemade book became my companion to help my son gently work through his feelings and fears. I hope it will be yours, too.

A Catharsis
Have you ever felt so immersed in nature that it was as if you were a breeze within a wind blowing in the distance—one of the sand grains of the desert or one of the water droplets in the sea? A member of the congregation of plants and trees?Have you ever felt ecstasy and happiness from helping others or pride for a glorious accomplishment?Alternatively, have you ever felt that you lived in so much darkness and pain that you could not see the light at the end of the tunnel? And have you held on tight to your hopes and dreams, but no matter how hard your grip, they slipped away through your fingers?‘No, I will not be normal,I will reach and touch the stars,I will dream my way into the farthest corners of the universe...That which is seen and that which is not...’Poetry is the world in which all these feelings and more reside, bloom, and form parts of an alternative dimension that rises above the autonomy of our daily lives. Let’s always seek to discover the magic, beauty, and understanding that words can bring.

An Excursion Toward Guidance
She has given the word ‘thoughts’ the name ‘excursion’ so that we might grasp the extent of their power; sometimes the stroll is a sorrowful one that pierces the heart, whilst at other times it lifts you up to the seventh heaven on a ladder of joy and jubilation.Do thoughts not evoke the very same feelings?! One may warm your heart in moments of joy and enthusiasm, becoming the key to shyness and ecstasy, while another descends upon parting or abandonment, departing and leaving in its wake the bitterness of regret and the shattering of dreams. Such are thoughts, my friends.Ever since I began writing, I have been careful not to stifle the words with the ropes of lengthy narratives; thus, prose thought has been my chosen means of expressing what goes on in my mind or of discussing an issue that stirs my indignation and curiosity, and the common thread running through them all is the revelation of the intended meaning once they are finished. At the beginning of the work, there are some reflections that speak of abandonment and the fading of hope, while others touch upon longing and a sense of self-respect imbued with pride and dignity. Then the narrative took its course, culminating in my mother, who became the work’s conclusion and its culmination; I therefore sincerely hope that my writings will meet with your approval after you have finished wandering through the recesses of my thoughts.

Zuri
A child’s character can be shaped and nurtured through their upbringing. Zuri is a fairytale set in an ancient African kingdom, but its universal themes can resonate with children everywhere. In the story, a stubborn, rude, and unfriendly little prince named Eze encounters a miraculous bird named Zuri, who is full of wisdom and magic. Under mysterious circumstances, Zuri takes Eze on a journey to a fantastical world that transforms him overnight, from an ill-mannered boy into a polite and well-behaved young prince, and eventually, into a responsible and powerful king. The story’s moral teaches children that our outlook on life is shaped by the behaviors we develop. Bad manners lead to unhappiness, while good manners bring joy and fulfillment.

Will The Letters Return?
The neglect of our beloved language (Arabic) has become a truly alarming issue these days, and I wanted to convey the seriousness of drifting away from Arabic in a child-friendly way that resonates with children aged between nine and twelve, using a humorous and educational approach so that the reader does not lose interest and so that the message gets across correctly.Arabic is a time-honoured language, and it must be passed down through the generations, never to be lost. However, it has been observed that, with progress and development, this generation has come to use our mother tongue (the Arabic language) very little. For this reason, I wrote this story to imagine a world without letters, without words, without any means of communication, so that we might feel the gravity of the situation and reflect on the guilt we have incurred towards this beautiful language. We must instil this language in the hearts of children, for they are the generation of the future and the foundation of tomorrow. If it remains alive in their hearts, it will remain a strong and enduring heritage, and we need not fear its extinction or disappearance; but if it dies in the hearts of children, it will fade away little by little. Therefore, we must seize the moment and revive it in their hearts once more so that the foundations of the Arabic language remain strong for a better generation.

Emotional Intelligence In The Life Of Muhammad
Emotional intelligence is a relatively new science and one that is still in the stages of early recognition.Like any of the human sciences, the more evidence there is of how effective it is across nationalities and ages and beliefs, the more recognized the science becomes and the more valid its tools, leading to more people studying it and using it in their lives. This book was therefore written with the intention of increasing awareness of emotional intelligence and how it can enhance people’s effectiveness in all aspects of their lives through all of their tasks and roles.
