As if the gates of heaven were wide open to respond to the pleads and prayers of billions of people who were sickened by evil-filled societies. The entertainment that they offer has also become free of everything that contradicts good morals. There is no nudity and pornography, and no violence and sadism. They have focused on the programs that care about rebuilding the spiritual and moral transcendence of man and establishing justice and peace among the countries of the world, while focusing on the importance of cooperation and support between them.

This is a short story that tells of an adventure experienced by the Coconut family, a family that loves fun, playing, dancing, and singing, living peacefully on a small island in the middle of the ocean.

One day, while they were playing with a ball near the seashore, the ball fell into the sea and drifted away until it disappeared from their sight. They decided to go in search of the ball and swam in the ocean waters after it. Suddenly, they found themselves in front of a very large city.

They were afraid of this city at first, but they quickly got to know a family called the Banana family, who welcomed them and helped them return to their island safely.

One night, little Gary Alter woke up only to witness his older brother, Jay, running away. Jay had been acting weird lately, but not to that extent. Mr. and Mrs. Alter weren’t too happy about the runaway when they found out and it stirred up some trouble between the married couple. Good thing Gary doesn’t live with his parents anymore. As a child, he was sent to live with his wealthy and kind Grandparents. He was finishing his last year of medical school when everything started changing. A virus spread, causing an epidemic and a war started between the neighboring country and the one Gary and his family lived in. Providing doctors for both the study of the virus and for the war proved difficult. Doctors focused on the virus causing the government to recruit graduating medical students to help with the war. The tragedy of Gary’s life continues.

Real Illusions

My job as a civil engineer for more than 40 years, which I had spent roaming between different places of the world, might have obliged me to establish various relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds and social status. Such an experience urged me to escape from this dull reality and embark on a trip that makes me fly in the vast universe that surrounds us. Hence comes my new-born short story, which has always cajoled me and took me aback while reading it. It is my window through which I can reach out to my potential readers where they could share with me glances of the illusions that life has drawn for us.
