The People's Hat
Why “The People’s Hat” Matters?
In a world marked by burnout, disconnection, and quiet quitting, organizations that fail to understand the psychology of their people will find themselves losing talent, trust, and traction.
The People’s Hat matters because it reminds us of our highest responsibility as leaders and people professionals: to put humans at the heart of the system. Not as an afterthought but as the starting point. Not as a cost centre but as the center of value. It is time we honor that role with the depth, insight, and intentionality it deserves.
In wearing this hat, we no longer manage people only; we understand, enable, and elevate them
“The HR profession continues to evolve as it integrates the care for individuals with the need to build competitive, future-ready organizations. This book captures that evolution, offering clear, actionable insights across the full range of HR tools and processes, enriching people’s quality of work and life.”

Blind Eye
Haunted and hunted. This wasn’t the life JC had imagined for herself when she was accepted into Harvard to study archaeology.
Fascinated with Egyptology, Jane St. Claire was thrilled when she was offered a job in Egypt, and more so because her best friend (and crush), Hamad, also took up a job as a social political psychologist in his hometown, Alexandria. Life seemed full of promise.
But once she arrived, her world flipped on its axis. Someone wanted her for her bloodline dead or alive. But why?
So began JC’s unexpected, and unwanted, search for the truth about her heritage.

What Adam Begins, Adam Ends
Ten-year-old Adam stood on his doorstep, peering into the kitchen where his mother and father were engaged in a heated discussion—a conversation best left unheard of. He was too young to hear about the financial hardship his family was facing, the war ravaging his homeland, or the hidden world that surrounded him and his world on all sides.
If Adam had heard these secrets, the golden fortress around him would have crumbled. His eyes would have seen jinn of every kind, race, and color roaming every inch of his street. His ears would have heard whispers of the jinn speaking of the Battle of Karam Naz, or of the prophecy of the end of jinn rule that haunted the three masters, or of the impending war of the 99 princes.
And his tongue would have spoken… No… He would not speak. (Adam) said something about the jinn, so who would believe a child like Adam?!

No... Not My Brother
The older brother was no longer the same after the horrific accident he suffered abroad, at least in his sister’s eyes. His behavior towards her seemed heavy and erratic.
His parents and siblings didn’t believe her feelings, attributing them perhaps to an excessive adherence to values.
A few words that escaped his lips in his sleep became the thread she picked up, the light that illuminated the path for the security authorities, leading them to understand a serious security breach that had jeopardized several deals with foreign entities—deals that could have significantly enhanced the nation’s military capabilities for a long time to come.
It became clear that the brother was a sworn enemy, possessing only the outward appearance of brotherhood, which was later revealed to be nothing more than a facade.
A worker whose work was revealed by a pure soul that endured looks of suspicion and wrong assumptions from those around her until her truthfulness was proven, and the result was one whose consequences were praised by the home and the entire nation.

Springs Of Eternity
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was a seed on the river of life, from which flourishing trees of timeless tales grew.
When grandmothers’ stories are passed down, they remain in the collective memory of human cultural heritage, bearing witness to wisdom and documenting the social experience of their era.
From those warm threads, we weave the complete edifice of lived reality, extending through time and passed down through generations.
The tales of the springs of eternity tell us that a small seed can transform into a field of bounty.
Kind words, a gentle tone of voice, and trust—renewed growth.

Boat
Love, honesty, friendship, pain, betrayal, and many other emotions that overwhelm us and make our souls yearn for solace, transforming from feelings into words, lines, and everything in between.
These are prose poems that use imagery and metaphors to describe the emotions one inevitably experiences at some point in life, with authenticity and candor.
I hesitated a great deal before publishing these poems because of their closeness to my heart and the sincerity of the words, which I wanted to keep to myself with utmost privacy. However, I remembered that writing only becomes writing when it is shared without fear or secrecy, with much openness and courage, even if people judge the writer harshly.
“Boat,” “Chance Abandoned Us,” “Prisoner,” “Betrayal,” “White Cotton Candy,” “Anesthesia,” “Sealed Nectar,” “So I Don’t Float,” “A Cup of Air,” “Dancer,” “Love,” and “A Wave” are the titles of the poems in this collection.
The main poem, "Boat," describes love for the beloved, culminating in the love of God, which all true love must ultimately reach.
You are bound to find yourself reflected in this collection, perhaps on one page or another, and it will cultivate within you a beautiful imagination that transforms everything we experience into endless beauty.
