The Heavy Feathers
These unspoken words
tore me down part by part
as they poured through me
like plucking feathers
from my heavy heart
in hopes to be light
enough to fly
instead, I’ve learned to walk
and said goodbye
to my past life.
For healing is the art
of reincarnation

The Dark Side Of The Light
When life gives you lessons, you note them down. Someone sometime could benefit from the lessons you have written. This book has a few lessons – it has some real-life scenes.
There are a few pages where imagination kicked in, where the author imagined and wished these things happened.
Some wishes were written in the form of poems, and they became true.
Some poems are a “thank you” letter. Some of them are appreciations and acknowledgment of blessings. Nevertheless, most of them are unspoken words and unsent letters to people who caused damage to the soul of a writer.

The Blue Moon Diamond
Perhaps it had to rain,
For the clouds to clear
Perhaps I had to fall,
To conquer my fear
Perhaps the wind had to blow,
For the trees to sway
Perhaps my heart had to break,
For my feet to stand and pray.

The Art Of Emotional Venting
And with every ending comes a new beginning. Like when you finish watching your favorite TV show, or reading a great book series, or even writing a poetry book…
When an author concludes their final artwork, the piece will keep on being interpreted and left unforgotten.
This may be my last words in this emotional venting canvas but be sure to grab your own paintbrush and create your unique art story.

Sutured Into Place
"this is a poetry collection;
a journey of change of perception,
a product of chaos,
a reflection of a tear wiped,
a lesson of a wound dried,
a build-up of growth,
from my heart to yours,
to hold on."

Still Here
Broken childhood, broken dreams.
Never heard, yet misunderstood.
Is a home a safe place to be?
In this captivating work of extended verse, immerse yourself in the poignant tale of a woman yearning to break free from the shackles of her past. Caught in a web of tangles and knots, she finds solace in her solitude, dreaming of a life unrestrained and full of wonder. With plans woven in her mind, she embraces the quiet corners of her world, seeking refuge in the pages of her own thoughts.
As she navigates the harshness that surrounds her, she keenly feels every emotion, adapting and surrendering to the circumstances. Though made to feel fortunate for mere survival, she knows deep down that true happiness eludes her. Restless nights plagued by guilt, fear, and unfulfilled desires push her to fight her own battles, determined to overcome personal obstacles rather than wandering into the lives of others.

Soulfully Scribbled
Scribbling, scribbling on the wall,
A wall of love, hate… Full of uproar
A piece of art began to fall
From my heart, striking it all
Into fragments from my soul
Shattered, broken chaos uproar
Striving to remedy my life-long scar
Scribbling, scribbling on the wall…

Sofia
“Burn”
Burn in shelter, in escape, in refuge
Burn in a sacred secret space of destiny
Burn in shame or in contentment
Burn in ecstasy
Burn in sweetness or in endeavours of sacrifice
Burn layers of ego, shadows, traumas, and hidden vice
Burn the falsehood of earthly fights
Burn your depths to screams and aches
Burn, your flames will light the way for others to find
Burn my love
Burn in delight
On a journey of the self, the seeking for clarity and wisdom, yearning for a connection with the higher self - this comes with highs and lows, pushes and pulls, resistance, liberation, blazing passion, and calm surrender.
Sofia’s secrets of the blue will take you on a journey, surfing these tides of longing. This collection of poetry is a search for spiritual enrichment in the pursuit of unity.

So Many Hats (or Veils)
We play many roles in life and wear many hats: the human, the individual, the romantic, the man or woman, the parent, etc.
Can you make a connection with someone who seems so foreign to you, someone who wears hats you can’t begin to understand? Hats that - on first glance - may even seem threatening to you?
Is it possible to wear many hats without losing yourself, to integrate them into one “I”?
These are some questions I explore in my poetry, questions that float around in my head, under my own many hats.
Underneath
all my hats,
my eyes—
they stay the same.
Windows
into my soul,
that’s ’who
“I”
am.
I am not
any of my hats
or roles.
I’m just another
kindred
soul.
