So Many Hats (or Veils)

We play many roles in life and wear many hats: the human, the individual, the romantic, the man or woman, the parent, etc. 

Can you make a connection with someone who seems so foreign to you, someone who wears hats you can’t begin to understand? Hats that - on first glance - may even seem threatening to you? 

Is it possible to wear many hats without losing yourself, to integrate them into one “I”?

These are some questions I explore in my poetry, questions that float around in my head, under my own many hats.

Searching For Lights

We need lights in our lives to continue living and have a good time.

Lights can be in the form of contentment, which can be derived from a real love or a happy life.

Searching for Lights is a book of poems and short stories that will take you on a journey of discovering different kinds of love: soothing love, secret love, unspoken love, and real love.

In this book, you are going to see how life is rich in both happiness and sadness, regrets and hopes.

There you could be lost and struggle for love which can take you on ups and downs, humps and turbulences.

Somehow fantasy is not discounted in this book. Two short stories will drag you into a world of thrills and excitement. Nevertheless, this book carries lots of meaningful, moving sentences that can be used as quotes and deep posts.

And not to mention the meaningful drawings that accompanied each poem in order to deepen the meaning and clarify the message of the poem.

Dear reader, you may find your story or a situation that has happened to you previously in this book –  this life is a set of experiences that we have lived, even if the details differ.

Schizophrenic Galaxy

A journey into one’s mind is an exploration of the universe itself. A schizophrenic galaxy is a reality we live in. My thoughts led me into a walk down the electric roads in my mind, it was the winter that kept our love warm, Elysian fields of our extraterrestrial love. I hold you closer near the Arc de Triomphe where you justify the essence of a French kiss. We swift down Victor Hugo as my collar dances with your hair. We lay dazzled in Sainte-Chapelle screaming for your music, mesmerized by immortal trees, by weak leaves. Just like the soul you rescued, an infinite soul.

A journey into one’s mind is an exploration of our souls intertwine. Light and awareness, the aliveness in every apparent motion in my mind. My thoughts and actions are justified by her, extracted out of me and returned to her. Everything I see, hear, do or know is enabled out of me. It is my mind and my being in use.

Rhythm Resonance

An old soul with a modern view
Numerous traumas she went through
She managed to emerge though with new mindsets
On a recovery journey, on herself she bets

She might seem simple on the surface
Yet, she's boiling inside,trapped in a thermos
She claimed her feelings, identified them
Unearthing their roots, where they stem

No red lines, and no secrets
She just likes to share her candid experience
For your empathy, she's surely needless
In emotional detection, a mere ingenious

She resonates and tolerates
In offering help, she never hesitates
Generously giving her care and time
With a strong encouragement to always rhyme
To self-love and dress to the nine
And inner core continuously refine.

Oh Hardships! they never last
I know how now, you're deeply crashed
Rely on your creator, and release your burden
A new person will shine, an amazing version.

Regretted Never, Won’t Ever

This is my first ever endeavor to create a ‘garland of rhyming words’. People usually call them poem… For me, not even one is less than a pearl. This is just an encouragement and inspiration for me to pen and weave more such beautiful garlands.

As a human being, we have various traits which define us. So are my poems, expressing different moods, feelings and thoughts.

Each one is unique and has the power to connect directly to the reader.
