My Daughter Fatima

The events of the story revolve around Souad, a mother of three children. She was living a quiet and stable life with her family. She was not planning for a fourth child, but God decided and did what he wanted. She became pregnant with the fourth child, and with this pregnancy she carried within her many feelings of rejection and not accepting reality. Feeling pressure, and experiencing exceptional events during pregnancy and postpartum, these events make Souad contemplate everything around her, and discover the value of all the big and small blessings that surround her, which she had not previously noticed, so she begins to feel the value of her fourth child, which she has had.

Inversion

A story that revolves around the vicissitudes of the world that change our entity, which step us out of our nature; the life is only a desperate attempt to salvation, and the perseverance to reunite inverted contradictory images in all of us. In the war of contradictions that we live in, we seek peace on the battlefield, seek integrity in the land of corruption, and sail towards the idealism through materialistic means. We breathe life from pain, are born of death but at the same time fear it. We should fear the death of consciousness, not the death of the body. It takes more than decades to know and revive ourselves. The time is running, and we don’t need to aggravate an already depleting heart.

The Envious

The title of the story may invite pessimism, because the ‘eye’ or the ‘one with the evil eye’ usually brings nothing but harm to those around them due to the power of their eye. But… what if we imagined that someone was able to control it and started harnessing it in their service? When this idea came to me, I did not hesitate for a moment to turn it into a novel, because I grew up watching many famous series and programs that dealt with it in a comedic format. So, I thought of trying something different because we rarely see that on our screens.

This book discloses the stages of the life of an Emirati girl named Amal; she lives in a conservative family, which has many rules and regulations that make her life full of labyrinths and difficulties. Her difficulties begin with the loss of her mother at a very young age, her father’s marriage to a foreigner and the loss of her dearest friend, Manal, whom she depended on during many difficulties in her life. Her difficulties seemed to ease out after she met Khalid and married him. This book narrates her life from her school to her university and then eventually to her marriage. It highlights the events which shape her optimistic personality that is full of hope, based on how she was raised by her parents, and the environment that she lived in. She becomes preoccupied in the world of social networking after her graduation from university because of the vacuum and boredom she experiences, but she does not drift, like other young people, into that mysterious world and its horrors. From another side, the novel visualises the Emirati house which is full of familiarity and cooperation, adhering to the customs and traditions, despite the current developments, and families diverging after the marriage of their children. Additionally, it talks about the importance of the homeland and defending it against the new challenges and risks. It displays an example about the role of the martyrs, their sacrifices, and giving their lives for the sake of the homeland.

I Had A Home

The truth always has another aspect that we don't know, it is not absolute, each of us has a reality and circumstances that differ according to the events of his life and its plot, and so his interpretation of the facts of life around him differed. 

We often judge people around us and we misunderstand them, only because we don't try to put ourselves in their place, and this is what the novel is talking about.

Youssef and Kawthar are a married couple from different environment, which affected their interaction with the social and political life events around them. However, they agreed that the difference would not spoil their life. In a dialogue, the events of this novel revolve between the heroes and a detailed narration of their stories and circumstances results in one plot, and with different circumstances the interpretations differ. Will love last in the midst of life?

The events of the novel take place in different locations in New York, the Arabian Gulf and Syria, between Kawthar, Youssef and other heroes from India, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Algeria. Everyone tells his story and his own version.
