Choosing Love
Lana Bataineh, better known as Loofy, is a mother, a wife, a sister,
a grandmother and an ALS patient. Sixteen years ago, the doctors gave
her two years to live. Since then, she has attended her three children’s
graduations, danced at her son’s wedding, witnessed the birth of her
first grandchild, and inspired countless lives along the way.
Choosing Love takes you on Lana’s journey of finding inner strength
through the power of Love. It is a human story guaranteed to inspire
anyone going through hardship.

Child Health Around The World: The Adventures Of A Kindhearted Pediatrician
The book Child Health Around the World: The Adventures of a Kindhearted Pediatrician is a message that aims to increase humanitarian global medical volunteering among our medical and community circles in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, and the Arab countries.
It is also a loud voice calling for change in the hands of the youth and the new generation, openness to the other world, and equality among all the world’s groups on one standard called “humanity.”
This book is about the experiences I lived and coexisted with, and my personal analysis of them from a scientific, humanistic, and social perspective. Perhaps these experiences will enrich the discussion and inspire my generation and the generation that came after me to contribute to changing the world and making it better than ever, “one patient at a time.”
It also aims to discuss equality, racism, social determinants of health and children’s rights from a local and global lens at the same time, which makes the reader focus on the similarities among human beings around the world instead of focusing on the differences.
In short, it is a draft of my thoughts on global citizenship, openness to the other and helping the poor and needy, regardless of their color, race, religion or sect.

A Boy From Bahrain
This book, A Boy from Bahrain, is an English translation of a chapter in my Arabic book, Colored Papers.
I thought this book might be an interesting way for English readers to learn about the typical life of a young boy in Bahrain during the years 1930-1950.

Many women find themselves trapped in a cycle of abuse, whether it be physical, mental, emotional, or financial. It can be easy to believe promises and hold onto hope for change, especially when love and trust are involved. But staying in a toxic marriage, whether for the sake of children or fear of the unknown, can have unseen consequences. This book is about learning to trust in God and recognizing the blessings in hardship, even when it feels like a punishment. It's about embracing the change and having the strength to let go when things are at their worst. This is a journey towards finding gratitude in the trials and tribulations of life.
