The Journey of Exile is Rashed’s real-life experience of studying abroad in the United States. It all started with a scholarship and trip turned into a life-changing adventure filled with lessons about identity, faith and perseverance. He also shared in his book how living far from home helped him grow stronger and more grateful for his roots.

Rashed Mohamed Almehairi is an Emirati graduate in international relations. His journey from the UAE to the US taught him the value of hard work, faith and gratitude. The Journey of Exile is his way of passing those lessons on to students and dreamers who are ready to chase their goals.
