Oryxa is the story of a princess from the stars who is forced to escape her home after a storm. It was created by the strange winged creatures called Wasinats. Now with her best friend…Princess Prisca, Oryxa lands on Earth and begins her journey across six mysterious islands and each full of its own adventures. With her mirror in hand and a little courage in her heart, she sets out. Along the way, she learns more about herself and what really matters.

Maha Alshaer is a Jordanian writer and holds a master’s degree in Social Planning and Policy from the London School of Economics through a Chevening Scholarship. She has since worked on development programs across the Middle East and combined her passion for storytelling with her dedication to social progress.
