Hakima tells the story of a girl with a big heart…she faces bullying because of her weight, her mature appearance and everything she does. The novel follows her daily life and shows how she overcomes the challenges thrown her way and finds her own strength.

Fayiza Emad Khalifa was born in the United Arab Emirates on November 14, 1999. She has an Egyptian father and Jordanian mother with three sisters (Munira, Reem and Amira). A bright student from an early age, she graduated with distinction and honors. Reading and writing have been her passions since childhood, and Hakima is the realization of her lifelong dream to become a writer.
