The Mystery in the Village is a simple story about a boy who meets a man hiding from the world. Their bond is brief but sincere and the boy leaves with a lesson he will never forget. The man’s quiet words about life, trust and the people we choose to believe in stay with him long after that meeting. This story is a gentle reminder that sometimes the smallest encounters teach us the biggest truths of life.

Eshaal Goher is a twelve-year-old writer who found her love for storytelling through her father. She was born in Saudi Arabia and now lives in the UAE. Eshaal enjoys reading, travelling and exploring nature. Alongside writing, she also spends her time playing sports and staying active. The Mystery in the Village is her first published story, and she hopes that her writing will inspire positivity in young readers.
