Our author Laiba A. Basit will be joining the Doha International Book Fair for the signing of her book Apart, But Together on Friday, 22 May 2026 at 19:00. The event will take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, DECC, Doha.

Visitors will be able to meet the author and get a signed copy during the event.

Apart, But Together is a story about Lily and Amy, two close friends living far away from each other. Lily has moved to Washington, where life feels new and unfamiliar. Amy remains in California, the place she has always known. Their friendship continues through heartfelt letters, but distance slowly begins to change what once felt unbreakable.

Laiba A. Basit is a 12-year-old author from Kerala, India and is based in Qatar. She attained a Guinness World Record after publishing her three-book series Order of the Galaxy. She was nominated as the “Youngest Person to Publish a Book Series (female)” in the Guinness Book of Records and held the title until January 7, 2024. Her achievement was recorded after her second book was published on August 29, 2021, when she was 10 years and 164 days old.
