Hind Rashid Al Blooshi will join us at the Sharjah Literature Festival for a book signing of The Bride of Al-Botain on Thursday, 8 January 2026 at 20:00. The signing will take place at the parking area opposite City University Hall, Sharjah at stall number 20.

Visitors will be able to meet the author and get a signed copy during the event.

The Bride of Al-Botain is a book about self-search, loss and the need to be heard. It speaks about a person who feels pulled apart by a loud world and decides to face herself with honesty. The story moves through inner struggle and learning to say (no). It also carries deep feelings of love and longing for a mother with words that come from grief and the wish to feel close again.

Hind Rashid Al Blooshi is an Emirati writer known for literary work that talks about culture, traditions and life. She writes in more than one form...like novels and free verse poetry. In her book, she explores social, cultural and personal topics with a focus on women’s lives and emotions. Her novel “I Loved Narcissistically” published in 2022, reached many readers and gained wide attention.
