Grandmother and the Book of Memories tells the story of a child learning to understand their grandmother’s Alzheimer’s. It shows how memory loss can change things but also how love and patience can keep a family close. The book helps children see that even when someone forgets, the bond they share stays strong. It also includes simple activities that encourage kids to spend time, talk and connect with their loved ones in new ways.

Feda Farouk Asad, a Saudi of Palestinian origin, was born and raised in Kuwait and now lives in Riyadh with her family. Passionate about reading and storytelling from a young age, she has worked in several fields, including disability and sports. Grandmother and the Book of Memories is her first published book.
