Dr. Amal Salim Al Halyan will join us at the Jeddah International Book Fair for a book signing of Adventures With January And Friends on Thursday, 18 December 2025 at 19:00. The signing will take place at Jeddah Superdome at stand R1. Visitors will be able to meet the author, speak with her about the story and receive a signed copy during the event.

Adventures With January And Friends is the story of January, who never gives up and learns what friendship and belonging truly mean. With his new friends Zara and Shadow, he sets off on fun adventures around the city. Along the way, young readers learn simple lessons about caring, honesty, curiosity, respect and love. The story is full of warm moments and small discoveries that help children see the value of kindness and compassion.

Dr. Amal Salim Al Halyan has worked as a child psychiatrist and has also tried healthcare and workplace life through research and writing. She has a special story that inspired her to write and it was not a person but a cat named January. This is her first children’s book and she wrote it as a caring bedtime story with humour, heart and strong values.
