Austin Macauley UAE participated in the 2nd International Bookseller Conference, which took place on the side-lines of the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival from 1st May to 2nd May. The Sharjah Book Authority organised the event at the Expo Centre Sharjah.
Some 383 book distributors, including 160 from Arab nations and 223 from the rest of the world, participated in the event. The event also included 18 workshops and roundtables apart from 15 publisher pitches. The publisher pitches included those from reputable authors, from around the world, including Austin Macauley UAE.
The conference was a unique and befitting opportunity for publishers and industry professionals to share and learn from each other. Austin Macauley UAE aims to continue engaging in such initiatives and conferences.
