Ahmed is the son of a chief, whose tribe lives in a small Arabian village by the seashore. He wishes to be part of all the activities with the boys of his tribe. Activities such as crossing the shallow creek on donkeys and participating in pearl diving, instead of the more serious tasks like studying, and discussing serious topics while sitting with the elders of the tribe. His wish comes true when his friend Khalid invites him on a pearl diving trip - and so, 

the adventure begins . . .

GHAs perform their functions under strict international/national regulations and requirements. The book brings out the most important sections of aircraft ground handling of the GHA, the functions and processes involved. It also entails the base knowledge and related factors required to perform the services to a customer airline.

There are critical processes, highly skilled manpower requirements and specialised equipment that are involved within ground handling at an airport to ensure a safe, punctual, most efficient and economical operation. This book entails to cover as much as possible some of those critical functions.

Although the technology/processes uses local rules and regulations, the airport structure may vary from one to another, region to another, but the basics remain an everlasting requirement. This book is bringing forth that knowledge and understanding to the reader, thus empowering him/her.

Anti-Corrosive Treatment For Concrete Surfaces

Chemical industries, dairy units, oil and gas refineries, petro-chemical complexes and fertilizer manufacturing units are few of those areas which are incomplete without anti-corrosive treatment for concrete surface.

Environmental effects, spillage and dust- emission are few of those processes which can corrode concrete. Protection of concrete surface of constructed elements from corrosive attack “arising through very harsh corrosive conditions” from all those (and many more) sources of corrosion becomes a moral duty of a Civil Engineer.

This book is an effort in this direction to share the applied knowledge with the budding Engineers so that they are aware of such protective measures to be taken for the situations they are put into which I am sure, you must have found it to be of significant importance. One save of production stoppage with use of knowledge contained in this book would serve the very purpose of bringing it out.
