Yugen is a collection of mysterious yet profound spiritual spells that will enable you to fall in love with the healing power that the universe has bestowed upon us in the form of nature. Yugen is all about celebrating the broken yet sad beauty of human suffering because soon flowers will grow in those wounded parts of you and soon very soon you will experience glimpses of eternal beauty.

‘Yugen’ is an important concept in traditional Japanese aesthetics. They describe ‘yugen’ as a sense of subtle profundity or graceful elegance that is evoked and felt with a heart and not seen with eyes.

Naheed Hassan, a graduate of Riphah International University Islamabad and currently pursuing her M.Phil. in English Linguistics and Literature from COMSATS University Islamabad, is a poet of unheard melodies who belongs to Parachinar, a miraculous picturesque city of Pakistan also known as The Paradise on Earth for its endless beauty. She was born in Parachinar and raised in Islamabad, Pakistan, and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a result, she got a chance to explore and observe people of different ethnicities. But her soul belongs to the world of words, where she has the power to create an imaginative universe of her own. As an avid reader, her love for books and words helped her survive this journey of life.

Naheed's poetry is deeply rooted in the realms of mysticism and spirituality. Her work emerges from a state of creative ecstasy, where she channels the unspoken voices of souls longing for expression. She sees her words as more than just poetic lines—they are echoes of unheard voices, reaching out for connection in a world often too busy to listen. This is why she considers herself the poet of unheard melodies, capturing the intangible and spiritual in every verse.

Mysticism is not just an inspiration for Naheed; it is the very core of her writing. It guides her thoughts, allowing her to delve into the hidden layers of existence and explore the deeper, spiritual truths that lie beneath the surface. Her poetry is not simply about constructing beautiful phrases; it is a journey of uncovering the mystical essence within reality, searching for the divine in the unseen, and giving voice to the quiet, sacred moments that often go unnoticed.
