The novel "The Phoenix" tells the story of a woman who goes through difficult circumstances from her early childhood until she grows up and becomes a beautiful young woman, like the mythical phoenix. She was able to challenge all her circumstances, pains, and sorrows, and instead create hopes and ambitions. She also managed to prove herself and achieve her identity.

Azza Youssef El Helou is an Egyptian by birth, from the city of Mansoura. She spent her childhood and youth in Kuwait, where her father worked as an Arabic language teacher. She then enrolled in Ain Shams University in the Department of Slavic Languages, specifically the Russian language section, where she received a scholarship in 1990, achieved high distinction, and was awarded a monetary prize in recognition of her accomplishments. She did not work in her field of study and became a flight attendant for Kuwait Airways. She drew her passion for flying, even at this moment she is writing, from her only brother, whose dream was to become a pilot. However, a traffic accident caused his death, which made her cling to his dream and her own. She was able to achieve the highest grades and excel in everything with her kind heart, generosity, and love for her work, through which she received many accolades. She also studied hair beautification.
