Writer Knanah Hatim Eissa: I was born in Salamiyah, the capital of thought, in the heart of the Syrian Arab Republic. She obtained a degree in English literature from the Faculty of Arts in the University of Aleppo. She worked as a translator and teacher of English at the Agha Khan Development Foundation - Department of Culture and Early Education. She also obtained a TESOL diploma from Trinity University London for teaching English to non-native speakers, and an interactive highscope diploma based on the merging of Arabic and English to teach early stages, at the Ismaili Center in Dubai, Department of Development and Culture. She participated in a lot of educational, cultural and academic workshops; She has completed her work as an English language teacher in Dubai Private Schools for more than 12 years. She participated in many literary competitions in the field of literary thinking, short story, child literature, and many educational cultural projects in Syria and the United Arab Emirates.
