Sidrat stands firm, its roots cling to the dry ground, its branches grow from a hard trunk and the leaves condense under the blazing sun to bear its fruits.
We are born with our contradictions, we live moments of joy and sadness, feelings of satisfaction and rage, alone or surrounded by people, under the weight of days that passed and a time that will not return. We live only under Allah’s kindness, only then Sidrat grows and we live.
A Kuwaiti Author. Holds a bachelor’s degree in political science, and master’s degree in international affairs. She worked as a political news editor for six years between (2001–2006) then turned to culture in Alarabi Al- Sagheer Magazine. She participated in writing surveys, articles and book presentations. She has also helped in child writing, to become the editor in chief of the Magazine. She has participated in many school and academic activities to support children’s writing and reading. She also attended literary conferences, seminars and workshops about children prints. She wrote in Al-Ra’ai and Al- Nahar newspaper. She has published her book Royalty Days in Egypt with the collaboration of Dr. Hisham Bahehane in 1999, and a young adult novel, My friend Seashell Collector.
