Green Space is the story of an Afghan wishing prosperity and abundance in a place that was once, but is no longer, occupied by someone important. Some western cultures refer to that place as a hole or a void. This is a twist in that viewpoint to see the now-free place as a 'green space'. A fertile area with wonderful potential for new growth and bounty.

Maz Hakim is the daughter of Afghan parents who risked everything by fleeing the war and immigrating to Australia. Maz discovered her love of sharing stories through her nearly decade-long radio career.

She expresses herself through various artforms, including the creation of her one-of-a-kind clothing range, jewelry design, and poetry. She is a long-time radio presenter on Dubai’s number 1 radio station.
