The book addresses the nature of crises and the stages of their development and reviews models and crisis management strategies, as well as public relations. It also emphasizes the role of government communication in governmental institutions, in addition to clarifying artificial intelligence techniques and their role in managing crises and disasters. It also presents an integrated preventive model that enables institutions to manage crises effectively and build community awareness to confront crises.

This book is considered a comprehensive study and a guide to understanding ways to develop crisis management as it targets the general reader, as well as university students, researchers, graduate students, faculty members, university workers, and all educational organizations.
