This story is an attempt to retrace the journey that the author’s ancestors undertook – from their village to the city – in pursuit of a better life. Their path reflects the experiences of countless families seeking dignity, opportunity, and a brighter future. Though the details and timelines may differ, the ultimate goal remains the same: a more hopeful tomorrow.

At the conclusion of this narrative, the author includes a personal life diary, recounting events from his own experiences. This addition serves to highlight the ongoing nature of life’s struggles and triumphs. There is no intent to diminish anyone’s efforts or to elevate any single person’s dedication. These are simply the truths of a life lived – left to speak for themselves.

The three generations portrayed in this story may differ in era and in how they faced life’s challenges, yet their shared aspiration remains unchanged: to build a better life.

Readers are encouraged to withhold judgment of the characters within these pages. Each individual acted according to their own understanding and circumstances. Rather than critique, this story invites readers to celebrate life and witness the passage of time across generations.

Life is a constant test. Sometimes we rise; other times, we stumble. There is no such thing as a perfect life, and the quest for a flawless world is often an illusion. Along our journey, we meet many people – some who walk with us through both the sunshine and the storm, and others who depart when the skies darken.

Documenting one’s life is never easy. Not everything can be shared, nor can every emotion be captured. Still, the author has chosen to focus on moments he believes will resonate with readers, offering insight, meaning, and a heartfelt connection throughout these pages.
