Fatima Al-Yaziji is a civil engineer and author of an academic-leaning novel with strong influences from music, science, and adventure. She began her writing career by attending novel writing workshops by Steve Alcorn and several lectures from the Sharjah Book Fair, through which she wrote her first story about a young detective who got the opportunity to rebuild his life in a new country after his previous work ruined his old life, but with his new life. He found himself facing a similar case along with his past haunting him.
