Adel Salah
Adel Salah has over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector, including proposal writing, project management, and NGO leadership.
He has worked with a range of international relief organizations, including as Country Director for War Child UK in Yemen, Emergency Officer for the World Health Organization, Program Manager and Relief Officer for Oxfam, Project Manager for the World Bank, and Program Manager for the Yemeni Family Care Association.
Adel founded the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response, a leading humanitarian NGO in Yemen, successfully growing it from a small team to 300 employees in just three years (2014-2017).
Under his leadership, the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NFID) provided humanitarian assistance and development services to over 2 million people, distributing more than $100 million in in-kind and cash aid across various sectors, including health and nutrition, education and protection, water, sanitation and hygiene, food security, and livelihoods.
Adel is passionate about empowering NGOs and enhancing their fundraising capabilities. To this end, he founded Portal365 in 2017. This startup aims to build a fundraising management system and provide NGOs with comprehensive support in donor research, proposal writing, administration, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting, all in an interactive and user-friendly manner.
Leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience, Adel aims to transform how NGOs approach fundraising and donor recruitment, ensuring they have the best tools and resources to fulfill their mission.
