Mohamed Saidi

Mohamed Saidi is a professor of mathematics at the University of Exeter (UK). He was born in Algiers, Algeria, where he completed his primary and secondary education. He then moved to the city of Constantine in eastern Algeria and attended its university for four years, earning an advanced degree in mathematics.

After this period, he moved to Bordeaux, France, where he studied for another four years and obtained a doctorate in pure mathematics with distinction. He later joined several German universities (Münster, Heidelberg, and Bonn), where he worked as an assistant professor. At the beginning of the 21st century, he joined Durham University in northern Britain as a mathematics lecturer and remained there for four years. He then moved to the University of Exeter as a professor of mathematics, where he currently resides.

Over the years, he has been affiliated with several international mathematical research centers on a periodic basis, including those in Berkeley, Bonn, Paris, and Kyoto.

He has published dozens of mathematical research papers in specialized academic journals, focusing on the fields of algebraic geometry, number theory, and algebra.
