Dr. Ahmet Rumiye

Dr. Ahmet Rumiye is an internationally respected PMO leader and transformation strategist, bringing over 18 years of cross-industry experience spanning banking, financial services, and technology. He holds multiple elite credentials, including PMP® (Project Management Professional), PgMP® (Program Management Professional), PfMP® (Portfolio Management Professional), and PMI-PMO Certified Professional, affirming his deep expertise across the full project, program, and portfolio management spectrum.

In addition, he holds the GPM-b® (Green Project Manager - Level B) credential, demonstrating advanced competence in sustainable project management practices, and is certified as a CPMAI (Certified Project Manager for Artificial Intelligence) professional, reflecting specialization in applying AI methodologies to project management.

Dr. Rumiye earned his Master’s degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Liverpool and completed his Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Portsmouth. His commitment to lifelong learning is further underscored by executive education from globally renowned institutions including INSEAD and London Business School.

Currently serving as Head of Enterprise PMO at Boubyan Bank, Dr. Rumiye leads enterprise-wide strategic delivery and transformation initiatives. He is also an active contributor to the global project management community, holding a leadership position within the PMOGA MENA Hub and volunteering with the Project Management Institute (PMI).
