Peter Alatsas

Globetrotter Peter Alatsas was born in Greece, raised in Australia, and educated in Canada and Cyberspace. He is a veteran hotelier with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality, tourism, and education fields. Thanks to his life’s work—managing luxury hotels—Alatsas has lived all over the world from Jeddah to Japan, Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia, Singapore, Greece, France, Australia, China, the USA, UAE, and Canada. He has also served as Vice President Six Sigma Starwood Asia Pacific Division, Advisor/CEO Artist Hotels in Japan and most recently COO Frontel Group/General Manager Venue Hotels in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.


He has also lectured at the Swiss Alpine College in Athens and serves on the school’s international advisory board. He holds a BA degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Ryerson University, Canada, and an MBA in Management Consultancy from Sheffield Hallam University, UK.


He has traveled to some of the most exotic locations in the world. And it was during these travels that he delved into world philosophies and world culture. He is the author of two books, Diplomats and Doormats; a Hoteliers Odyssey, and Tea with Kongzi; A conversation with Confucius brought to the modern era.


He intertwines his unique world perspectives with philosophical and management theories. In so doing, he makes his books not only an enjoyable read but also a must-have for business managers.
