Lana Murad Bataineh
Lana Bataineh, better known as Loofy, is a mother of three
who was leading a relatively healthy life when, at the age of
44, and out of seemingly nowhere, she was diagnosed with
amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The disease takes away
the patient’s movement abilities and eventually works its way
to the lungs, causing respiratory failure. The disease is
considered to be fatal within two to five years from the time
it is diagnosed.
Now, 16 years later, Loofy has overcome the medical
statistics and is thriving. In this book, she talks about her
journey to healing, and how she was able to mentally stop the
fatal spread of the disease. Beyond finding stability in her
physical condition, she has managed to inspire countless lives
along the way and now uses her platform to help others get
through their struggles.
