Jason Sullivan is a mental-health therapist at Kuwait Counseling Center, and the founder of Quiet Chaos. Jason is also a speaker and a writer. He has presented on student mental-health issues in a university environment at the MENASPA Conferences in Singapore and Kuwait, which is an international conference for student affairs professionals from the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia. He has also presented for the Indian Women’s Association of Kuwait on addiction, as well as the Middle East Psychological Association on the physiology of anxiety disorders. He is the former director of the Counseling Center at the American University of Kuwait, 2011–2019.
Jason has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and religious studies, as well as a master’s degree in mental-health counseling. He has been involved in outreach work through his Quiet Chaos campaign, as well as creating the first art and music therapy program in a university in the Middle East. Jason is a member of the American Counseling Association, Florida Crisis Response Team, and Middle East Psychological Association.
