Hafiza Abdulkader Kbitri
Hafiza Abdulkader Kbitri completed her studies in Damascus. She soon married Dr. Abdulkader Hamoodi, and moved with him to the city of Aleppo. She is a mother of four children.
She holds a patent in the field of safety and security. She also held the position of Vice President of the Syrian Inventors Association, and was honored by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for the best woman invention for the year 2001 with the gold medal. The author operated her factory “Safety Tex” based on this invention, which manufactures safety and security garments. She was a member of the Businesswomen’s Committee, and a member of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Aleppo. Due to the unfortunate events of war in Syria, her factory was completely destroyed. Her favorite hobbies are reading and writing stories and poetry.
