Dr. Ibrahim Alyousef lived in Syria during the war, and through his work as a doctor in a hospital, he witnessed many of the horrors of war. This pushed him to escape his painful reality by writing novels, allowing himself to live in a different world, one filled with love and beauty, far from pain and death.
