In the corners of life, she sat down, after three years of failure and attempts to write a novel that all ended in failure. Raghad, the seventeen-year-old, realized that everything could happen in a swift moment. The idea of writing the novel Refugees Wherever We Go came to her amidst the ongoing war in Sudan. Perhaps the writer derived the name from her displacement from her home, as she had become a refugee; her heart rejected all homelands. Four continuous months of hard work and sleepless nights, until her dish was ready. Here it is in all its glory, right before you. She was born in Omdurman and grew up in the embrace of Bahri.
She studied at ‘Ahmed Bashir Al-Abadi’ Primary School and completed her education at ‘Asma Abdul Rahim Model Secondary School’ and ‘Al-Manar Private Girls' School.’ She is currently studying at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at ‘Al-Zaeem Al-Azhari’ University.
Her personality and her writings evolved, and she became immersed in the folds of her dreams; she set a goal in front of her, and now she is stepping on her path to reach it. ‘Obstacles generate creativity.’ One must believe in this statement.
This work is the first completed in the writer’s life; therefore, she has put all her passion and faith.
