Alaa' Aljawhara
Alaa Al-Jawhara is not a person or a character. She is the offspring of a phase—something small that emerged from an ordinary human.
Her name is chosen carefully: “Alaa” means the blessings of God upon us, and “Al-Jawhara” (the jewel) represents the writer upon whom this blessing has been bestowed. Together, Alaa Al-Jawhara is the result of everything the author went through while writing this book.
The author has always treated writing as a breath of fresh air—a way to express overflowing emotions and tangled thoughts. But for nearly seven years, she went through a phase of negligence, and writing distanced itself from her. Then, a sudden thunderbolt moment brought her back. When she returned, she decided that her journey of awareness shouldn’t be a solitary one; she believes it could be a way to help save others.
Alaa Al-Jawhara, then, is a blessing from God—a gift to everyone who has known negligence and has since been granted a path to salvation, no matter how different that path may be.
