Badr Nasser Al-Hamdan is a Saudi opinion writer specializing in urban planning and city management.

Director General of the Urban Heritage Sector at the Heritage Commission of the Ministry of Culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Master’s degree in Urban Design and Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning

He previously served as Director General of the National Urban Heritage Center and Executive Director of the Riyadh Branch of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.

He has worked in executive management in municipal work, urban development, and city management for over twenty years at the Riyadh Municipality. He is also a Senior Urban Planning and Design Engineer at the Municipality and Planning Department of the United Arab Emirates – Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). He is also an ambassador for the King Salman Urban Charter and is passionate about writing and creating creative urban content.
