Nigerian novelist Oladele Medaiyese released a holding book entitled Ahmed - The Chief's Son. The story of the novel concerns Ahmed, who was brought up in a small Nigerian the hamlet as the son of an influential traditional leader. The story, taking place in the 1970s, shows the challenges and complications of growing up in a conventional Nigerian society. Ahmed is a young guy attempting to navigate the demands of his family and community while trying to find his place in the world. He struggles between the pressure to succeed his father as a chieftain and his desire to further his education. he reader can feel like they are in the village with Ahmed and the other characters as a result of Medaiyese's writing, which is vivid and evocative.
